Who did you book with?  If you booked directly with an owner, everything should be fine.  If you booked with Holiday Nights, you need to check with them which apartment you are booked into.

Hi John, I am the administrator of the parque da Corcovada owners forum, and I can assure you that this company has no connection with this complex.  This is the fourth or fifth case of holiday switching I have heard with exactly the same story as yourselves.  They seem to be promoting a place called Villamoura Village, which I understand is very much inferior to PdaC.  At the last minute, they tell you Pdac is not available, and suggest you take villamoura Village instead.

Unfortunately, i don't know of any availability in PdaC for August.

we booked a 2 bed apartment at parque de corcovada from the 19th july 2010 for 16 days.we booked it on 2nd december 2009 via holidaynights.com.2 weeks before we were due to go holidaynights cancelled our booking and transferred us to very much inferior accomodation in another part of the algarve.we think this could be a scam,has anyone else had this problem?.
